This week I spent some time looking at the different visual organizers that my peers created. I was mostly curious as to which technology they would decide to use. It was obvious that we are all in different stages of the PBL process. I have to admit I was a little panicked and surprised at how detailed some of the visual organizers were. I felt that I might be “behind” in classwork. I am still wrapping myself around my driving questions and sub questions that I haven’t given much thought to what happens next or what the culminating event will be. But, as I looked back over my resources and the actual assignment for this week, I am satisfied with what I have accomplished.
Now that I have a little more information about my project, I am going to go look at the PBL Essential Elements Checklist again. I want to start thinking about the tasks that students will complete and what input students will have in their final product.
